Poole Tourism and Wave 105's Summertime in the South
A festival of events every year from April until September. Poole Tourism and Wave 105 bring you the longest Summertime in the South! Weekly events include Coles Miller Dream Machines, Rockley Park Quay for my Car, Summer Breeze on the Quay with Fireworks and Summer Breeze on the Beach with Fireworks.

Poole Animal Windfest
The UK's premier Wind and Kite Surfing competition will return to Poole again in September 2009. World class competitors, UK Windsurfing Freestyle Final, Round 2 Kiteboarding British Tour, Marquee Village - exhibits, kite and windsurfing clothing and equipment. Check out the Animal Windfest website

British Beach Polo Championships
On 10 -11th July 2009 the prestigious British Beach Polo Championships returns to Sandbanks, Poole for the second year. Top international players, celebrities and polo supporters will enjoy a festival of polo on the sand at Britain’s premier beach location. Six polo teams will compete for the title over the 2 days. RNLI Open Days 5 & 6th September ![]()
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution
welcomes members of the public to its headquarters in Poole. Visitors are welcome to visit the RNLI headquarters and the Lifeboat College, where the charity's lifeboat crews and lifeguards train. Exciting displays, demonstrations and tours, plus plenty of fun activities for children to take part in. Save the date and go along to experience first hand everything that the RNLI does - the sea survival demonstration, lifeboat tour and the rescue demonstration are always extremely popular.
