The Seven Seas Festival is a FREE family festival – a voyage of discovery that celebrates the food, music and culture of the world in seven unique arenas at Harbourside Park.

At the heart of the festival, the Poole Maritime Arena showcases the part seafaring has played in every aspect of life in the town past and present.

The festival site will be split into seven unique areas for a sensory tour of Planet Earth highlighting tastes, styles and sounds from around the world.

South Atlantic - carnival time with accent on colour, cocktails and the clamour of the Copacabna, mixed up with African drums and tribal dancers.

Caribbean - laid back vibe at the Irie Bar, relax with a rum and stir it up with jerk chicken or goat curry.

North Atlantic - European favourites here - French wine, cheese & can-can girls.  German bratwurst and Bierkeller Bar, woodfired pizzas from Italy, Spanish tapas, flamenco and Sangria by the Jug.   Irisih rover and lots of Dorset food, drink and acoustic music.

In the heart of the festival is the Martime event area where every aspect of seafaring life in Poole is represented from the festival's four partner charitiies - RNLI, Julia's House, Diverse Abilities and Greenpeace link will open in new window - to performances by local schools, circus and fire shows and the odd sea shanty.

And to make sure the festival strikes a chord with everyone there's a fairground area, with amazing views from Poole Harbour BIG Wheel, top tribute acts and local bands ready to rock their socks off on the Harry Socks music stage.
