World premiere of fascinating new video installation, pedestrians turn performers as they interact with ever-changing colours and shapes illuminating Bournemouth Square. Familiar town centre locations transformed by thrilling outdoor dance over the weekend including England premiere of performances by the remarkable Ex Nihilo, and the highly-entertaining integrated dance company StopGAP.

Our journey starts at the historic Square and Compass pub in Worth Matravers, from where we are led to the former quarrying site of Winspit, cradled in Jurassic Coast cliffs. Inspired by the drama of this most remarkable of places, the awe-inspiring performance combines the phenomenal accordion-playing of Kimmo with magical animations for a truly memorable experience.
Includes walk of 1.5 miles, Mobility Access assistance on request.

One of the world's most popular pieces of outdoor performance. French company Quidams present a beautiful and enchanting processional spectacle. Five giant white figures silently explore Poole Quay in search of light. The dreamy, ethereal characters then gently journey towards a spell-binding musical finale.

Tuesday 14 - Saturday 18 September
Open house rehearsals and taster sessions.  Part playground, part bandstand, NoFit State takes the tent off its circus, and invites you to join them in a celebration of the secret life of parks featuring the public themselves. From bicycle ballets to impromptu whistling workshops, the local community's talents will be revealed during the week. Then they'll be part of the finale show, complete with pyrotechnics, aerial artists, dance and music.
